Wishing you and your family a safe and joyous holiday season!
This year Lochmueller Group choose to donate to a charity in each of the primary regions our company serves. These seven organizations were chosen by each office because of the valuable support they provide to families and individuals of many different backgrounds and circumstances. Each Lochmueller Group Branch Manager has provided a statement as to why they believe each organization is vital to their region.
Ronald McDonald House of Evansville
“It is nice to know there is a resource available to families with children receiving medical care from the Ohio Valley region, and throughout the country, that allows them some comforts of home (warm meal, quiet space, bed to sleep in) while they are dealing with medical emergencies/circumstances. This is especially important for people who are away from their homes and families. We have had members of our Evansville staff who have benefitted from these resources and we felt as an Evansville Office that we should give back to this wonderful organization that has been such a positive force in the Evansville community and the region at large.”
-David Goffinet, Evansville Office Manager
Community Action of Southern Indiana
“Community Action of Southern Indiana (CASI) supports Clark, Floyd, and Harrison Counties by offering support to families in the region and empowers families and communities to reach self-sufficiency. The Lochmueller Group Jeffersonville Office choose to donate to CASI because of the variety of programs the organization provides to assist families and individuals in the region we perform work in. CASI provides families and individuals with training, housing, programs for children like Head Start, healthcare assistance, and more. Lochmueller Group Jeffersonville wants to support CASI in their mission and help them reach more people. It’s helping to make our corner of the world a better place.”
-Patricia Yount, Jeffersonville Office Manager
“Lochmueller Group’s Troy Office works closely with a wide variety of municipalities, counties, and state and federal agencies in support of their transportation and traffic engineering needs. Our staff thought it only fitting to donate this holiday season to an organization with ties to the very agencies that we work with on a daily basis. Since 1959, The Backstoppers have provided support to 161 families including 148 families of police officers, firefighters and volunteer firefighters, and publicly funded paramedics and EMTs who lost their lives or suffered a catastrophic injury in the line of duty in the St. Louis Metropolitan area. Testimonials from the supported families is proof enough of the wonderful work of this charitable organization.”
-Brian Mueller, Troy Office Manager
Center for the Homeless (South Bend)
“Embracing the spirit of Christmas and what we do every day, our Lochmueller South Bend Office decided to donate to the Center for the Homeless to help those in desperate need. Our projects take us to many communities and one of the things we see everywhere, where we didn’t see before are those in need. The Center has served more than 55,000 men, women, children, and Veterans by linking them with the programs, agencies, and people who can help them break the cycle of homelessness.
The Center’s mission is to: break the cycle of homelessness; bring people together to discover the worth, dignity, and potential of one another; pioneer a service model worthy of replication.
Incredibly the Center provides not just life-saving, but life-changing services including: adult self-sufficiency & job training; early childhood and youth services; mental health counselling; fitness; year round and cold weather amnesty shelters for men, women, and families.
We are grateful for the client and corporate support that allows us to contribute to making someone’s life a little better.”
-Susan Al-Abbas, South Bend Office Manager
Greater Chicago Food Depository
“Hunger and Food Insecurity impacts every community and every neighborhood of Chicago and Cook County. One in six residents of Cook County, including one in five children are impacted by hunger and food insecurity every single day.
In the spirit of the season and as a reflection of all you do to improve our communities and our region, Lochmueller Group Chicago is proud to make a donation to the Greater Chicago Food Depository—Cook County’s local food bank—which provides food for hungry people while striving to end hunger in the community. Working with a network of more than 700 partner agencies and programs including food pantries, soup kitchens and shelters, the Greater Chicago Food Depository provides responses for children, older adults and veterans by distributing the equivalent of 164,000 meals each day and providing service to more than 812,000 individuals or 232,100 households each year.
Since 1979, the Food Depository has made a daily impact on hunger across Cook County. Last year, the Food Depository distributed nearly 72 million pounds of food, 37% of which was fresh produce.”
-Kevin Fuhr, Chicago Office Manager
“The St. Louis and St. Charles Lochmueller Group Offices chose to donate to the Alzheimer’s Association (ENDALZ) this holiday season. We are encouraged to know that ENDALZ provides optimal care and services to individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease as well as related illnesses, and to their families and caregivers. Making a difference is at the heart of everything ENDALZ does each day. Lochmueller Group’s financial support assists in enabling ENDALZ to screen more than 3.5 million individuals through their National Memory Screening Program. Funding millions of dollars in research, grants, and scholarships, and teaching more than 13,000 people in dementia specific training are ways ENDALZ will use our contribution. In addition, ENDALZ’s social workers have helped more than 25,000 individuals through their National Toll-Free helpline (866-232-8484) and over 10,000 people have attended their educational conferences. More than 86% of the money ENDALZ raises goes directly to supporting and expanding ENDALZ’s programs and services. The Lochmueller Group St. Louis and St. Charles offices are proud to support such a worthy cause in ending Alzheimer’s disease.”

Peyton Manning Hospital
“At Lochmueller Group, we believe that kids are our future, that there is nothing more important as the life of a kid. That is why the Indianapolis Office has chosen to support the Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital at St. Vincent. We, in Indiana, are unbelievably fortunate to have a facility like Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital to take our children when they need medical care. My family has had first-hand experience with their talented medical teams. We have twins that were born early and have disabilities/special abilities that they live with every day. The twins are also a bit medically fragile so we have spent more than our fair share of time at the hospital. We probably wouldn’t have our son today if it weren’t for the staff at Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital.
Over the years, we have seen kids fighting battles that make most problems seem insignificant and we’ve seen families dealing with situations that, luckily, most people don’t ever have to imagine. The staff do not just take care of the kids, they do everything they can to help families overcome medical challenges and get through every crisis that comes there way. The Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital provides care for kids with acute illnesses and improves the quality of life for kids, like my twins, who have chronic ailments. We know the great things that will come from our donation and hope that it is one small way that we at Lochmueller Group can make life a little better for a kid. “
