Employee-Owners Celebrated Throughout “Lochtober”

Each October, companies around the world celebrate Employee Owners Month. Lochmueller Group became a 100% Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) in October 2019, and every October thereafter has been named “Lochtober” to recognize our employee-owners who make our company successful. Our ESOP is fundamental to our corporate culture and adds value to our company, employee-owners, and community.

To celebrate Lochtober, our offices enjoyed outings and fall-related events all throughout October. Our Indianapolis office took a company outing to TopGolf and our St. Louis office participated in the ASCE/Engineer’s Club of St. Louis 6th Annual Kickball Tournament. The Troy office enjoyed a McAlister’s lunch, while the Evansville office orchestrated lunch from Random Fill-Ups food truck. Competition was high as the Troy office battled in a Halloween/fall-themed Je-Party game and a missing body parts office scavenger hunt, and the Evansville office participated in pumpkin decorating, fall dessert, and chili competitions. The last week of Lochtober was designated Spirit Week, which included Lochmueller gear day, crazy sock day, sports gear day, and hat day. Additionally, each office participated in “Wicked Wednesday” with Halloween costume competitions. The Evansville office even hosted a kids and dogs trick-or-treating event, allowing employee-owners to bring in their families for candy and dog treats.
