Lochmueller has been tasked with helping the Danville Area Transportation Study (DATS) with grant funding, planning, and application services. This will include identifying an application strategy that summarizes elements such as targeted cycle, proactive data collection needs to reinforce and enhance eligibility, planning activities or documents, and required local match requirements for potential projects. Additionally, actions will be identified for the City of Danville and surrounding communities to take to generate a competitive advantage that spans multiple programs/projects. Ultimately, this will result in well-constructed and thoughtful grant applications that afford the region its best chances to receive federal and state funds to fulfill its vision.
